Mathew records one shot near Pembroke mill-pond c.1857, and another there 7 Dec 1868; also at Lord’s Meadow Lamphey (no date) and three roosting in a tree within 30 yards of St Davids Cathedral, 1876, of which one was shot 12 May.
A male, now in the National Museum of Wales, from the collection of Dr Mills, was shot near Pembroke 14 Nov 1919.
