1993 – Single Amroth 17 Feb (JP), Skokholm 30 October, Llys-y-fran 11-31 December (PJP, PT et al)

1994 – One Hook 16 Jan; 2 Gann 27 Nov, one remaining to 31 Dec

1995 – 2 at the Gann 2-7 Jan; one there 19 Nov

1996 – One Llys y fran Res 11 Feb; up to 4 Fishguard Harbour 9-17 Feb; and 3 Gann 17-18 Feb. 3 rescued alive during oil spill and 2 moved into Upper Cleddau Estuary away from the oil. Singles Penberi Res 14-24 Feb; Treginnis 16-30 Feb; Wooltack Point 16 Mar; Gann 16 Mar – 7 Apr; 2 Heathfield GP 9 March. With a minimum of 14 birds involved, this was the largest influx recorded in Pembs to date. Singles Gann 21-22 Nov & 29 Dec.

1997 – Singles Gann 3 Jan – 7 Feb; Newgale 4 Jan; Angle Bay 13 Mar; Skokholm 21 May; Strumble Head 31 Oct; and Fishguard Harbour. 12 – 31 Dec.

1998 – Singles Fishguard Harbour 1 Jan – 1 Mar; Cwm yr Eglwys 6 & 7 Apr; Angle Bay 16 Oct; and Carew-Cresswell in Dec.

1999 – Singles Broad Haven (North) 11 Jan (LL) and 2 Feb (PT)

2000 – One Strumble Hd 8 Nov (CB, GHR et al).

2001 – One Strumble Hd 31 Oct (CB, PM, GHR)

2003 – Singles Strumble Hd 24 Sept (CB, GHR) and Bosherston 11 & 12 Nov (DJA et al).

2004 – One Fishguard Harb 9-28 Dec (AR et al).

2005 – One Teifi Estuary 12 Feb – 14 Mar (JG PN)

2006 – One Angle Bay 26 – 31 Dec (PRH et al).

2007 – All records came from two sites.  2 were at Angle Bay on 6 Jan, a single there on 18 Jan, 4 Feb and 2nd Mar (CH et al).  A single passed Strumble Head on 17 Oct (GHR)

2008 – Only two records this year, both of singles: at Angle Bay on 26 Jan – 6 March (CH et al); and at Carew Millpond 15 Dec to end of year (DGI et al)

2011 – A single bird at Cwm Yr Eglwys from 5th Jan to 1st Feb (SEB) and another at Gann/Dale Roads from 29th Jan until 13th Mar (DJA).

2015 – Single birds at Amroth on 5th Jan and at Angle Bay from 8th – 17th Jan were the only records for the year.

2016 – A single bird at Westfield Pill from 3rd to 12th Nov was the only record received. (top photo)

2020 – The only record was of one below the dam at Llys-y-fran Res 15 & 16 Nov (DO)
