1988 -Pembroke: one trapped + ringed, Pwllcrochan Marsh, Angle Bay 13 Aug (B.Haycock et al).

1993 – one heard (calling in the rough between the rugger pitch and Goodwick Stream) Goodwick Moor, 14 April (MAP)

1995 – one called at Marloes Mere 13-15 May (DJA, SB, JGr, SJS)

1997 – juvenile seen from the Creek hide, Teifi Marshes, 24 Aug (JG)

2003 –  A male called at Trefeiddan 17 May onwards into June, when it was thought to be disturbed by contractors.

2004 – A male was calling at Trefeiddan on 28 May (the second year running) (MS)

2015 – One on Skomer on 10th Sept (JWM et al). This represented only the 3rd for the island and the 1st in 45 years.

2015 – 14th September 2015, Teifi Marshes (Welsh Bird Report)

2018 – Single Teifi Marshes 28th July (photo above) (TE et al)

2019 – One at Teifi Marshes 22 – 23 Sept (JG et al).
