Mathias, Tracy, and Mathew all include it in their lists, though Mathew knew of no recent or dated record.  It was recorded by a writer in the Field in 1905.  there is, however, no fully authenticated record.

Great Snipe – 1894

Gallinago major – A winter visitor, rare.

The Great Snipe never occurred to us in Pembrokeshire; it is at all times very rare in the south-west of the kingdom. Mr. Mathias includes it in his list. Mr. Tracy says: “The Great Snipe has, in several instances, been killed in this county;” but he does not furnish localities and dates. We know of no recent occurrence.
