1993 – 1 Skomer 12 Nov (JP) 10th Pembs record

1994 – An adult male recorded at Ramsey 22 May (IDB)

1998 – Male Porth Clais 4 Nov

2002 –  Ad male Ffynnon Faiddog (nr St Davids) 22 May (JGa), 13th Pembrokeshire record

2003 – One female Skomer 28 May (DJA,RWW,DM et al) was the fourth record there

2003 – female, Skokholm recorded its third occurrence on 23 Nov (GT).

2004 – a singing male was at Strumble Head 9 May (SEB)

2009 – Single Skomer on 17th July (DB).

2016 – One female on Skomer on 26 Oct

Serin – 1994

Serins have been spreading northwards in Europe since at least 1800, first breeding in Great Britain in 1967 (Sharrock 1976). The first Serins recorded in Pembrokeshire were two at Marloes on 20 October 1933 (R.M. Lockley), followed by singles at Skomer on 2 April 1946 and 30-31 May 1974, at Marloes on 8 October 1949, at Skokholm on 10 June 1967 and 11 May 1974, at St Davids on 8-9 June 1972 and at Strumble Head on 10 April 1973 and 1 November 1980.
